Hunter Webinar - Soil Carbon Opportunities - September 2020
Building soil carbon can improve the productivity and profitability of your farm, and you can be paid for the carbon you produce. AgriProve facilitates landholder participation in the Emission Reduction Fund, and enables farmers to earn income from carbon abatement activities. The Soilkee will be used as an example technique to build soil carbon, by establishing new pasture management systems.
In this webinar we will provide an overview of soil carbon opportunities, with presentations by:
Matthew Warnken, AgriProve Managing Director – Participation in Soil Carbon Projects to generate carbon credits and the 5 steps to a soil carbon project.
Niels Olsen, Soilkee Pasture Renovator inventor – How Soilkee can be used to increase pasture productivity and build soil carbon.
Col Freeman, Local Land Services – Feedback from local Soilkee trials and grazing management to build soil carbon.
Bob Doyle, Doyle Rural Services – Using Soilkee as a tool within a whole farm approach to improving pasture productivity and building soil carbon.
